For the first time, Puerto Vallarta will host a National Veterans Tennis Tournament that is part of the Master Seniors National Circuit, endorsed by the Mexican Tennis Federation (FMT) and the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
The circuit has 17 national and international tournaments and Puerto Vallarta will host the ninth in the national calendar.
For this tournament we will have the participation of players that come from the interior of the Mexican Republic and will be promoting in 32 state tennis associations, the tournament has 13 categories male and female from 35 years and older and 70 years and older. Players will also be participating in open categories.
We will have cash prizes for champion and finalist of each category.
Special guests will be Jorge Lozano and Leo Lavalle, former international tennis stars.
Puerto Vallarta has hosted important tennis events such as:
-Men's Challenger Tournaments backed by the ATP TOUR
-Women's Challenger Tournaments Endorsed by the WTA
-Tennis tournaments Futures endorsed by the ITF
-Pro-circuit
-Youth World Cup Qualifiers
-Kids Cup National Tournaments with approximately 300 players
-National Tournaments sponsored by AMTP and FMT.
